Hannah doesn’t like making good a cappella….she likes making good music.

When Hannah arrived at Vassar College, she hadn’t even heard of ‘a cappella’ until one of the 8 groups on campus snatched her up – The Vassar Devils. After a quick one year introduction to this new world, Hannah went on to become music director for 3 out of her 4 years in the group. In that time, Hannah helped propel the group to compete at the 2014 ICCA Finals (winning her 2 choreography awards and 2 best set arrangement awards along the way), and then to the BOSS competition in 2015, where they took home first place along with awards for her choreography and solo.

Hannah’s artistic expression started outside of vocal music, beginning her arts career as a professional dancer, trained in percussive irish tap (lol wut). She has since made her way into composition and theater – music directing, concepting and directing many Vassar productions, music videos, etc. as well as starring in a few small off-broadway performances in the city; she has also co-written 2 musicals, both of which have had successful runs in Poughkeepsie, NY. Hannah brings her artistic background in this mix of arts to her arrangements, her recordings, and her work – always striving to create things that subvert or exceed expectation, but never simply satisfy. Hannah also has a mean stitch voice. Email 4 samplez.
